Authorized by the CENTRAL BANK to operate since March 1966 per REP. ACT7 720 as amended “DEPOSITS ARE INSURED BY PDIC UP TO P500,000 PER DEPOSITOR”.

Founded by Mr. Lirio A. Gustilo, first manager and president with the following incoporators Serafin J. Gustilo, Vicente C. Catolico, Juan C. Catolico, Salvador J. Gustillo, Marina Castro and Loreta J. Ledesma.

Was later managed by Mrs. Julieta Gustilo.

2013

In recognition of the changing needs and technology, then manager Ma. Concepcion Gustilo partnered with BDO for its first mobile point of sales (MPOS) terminal to cater clients who have ATM’s.
As well as having partnership with ILECO II, as their collecting agent to assist fellow Calinognons in facilitating the payment of their bills and reduce their travel to the satellite office in Dalid.

President in 2013, was Ma. Daisy G. Nafarrete and approved partnership together with Board of the Directors.

2019

With the growing needs of the Calinognons and nearby towns, Rural Bank of Calinog expanded its services by partnering with Union Bank of the Philippines and had Instapay,Pesonet as conduit for local remittances. Increased its ATM(MPOS) as well with additional units.

2021 (December 01)

With the approval of Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, the Board of Directors expanded their operations with the opening of their first Branch Lite Unit located at San Rufino St., Alimodian, Iloilo

2022 (June 08)

Second Branch-Lite unit was inaugurated at 50 Burgos Street, Lapaz, Iloilo City

2023 (April)

With the economic struggles of farmers after covid pandemic, the Board of Directors approved the partnership with ACPC, making Rural Bank of Calinog as their lending conduit to assist farmers in the whole Third district of the Province of Iloilo.
